When and where does the Gau Seva happen?
Every day from 20 Oct, at a gaushala in the Vaishno Devi area, Katra. You choose the date when you book.
Which days are special for gau seva?
Ekadashi is a traditional day: Papankusha Ekadashi on 22 Oct, Rama Ekadashi on 5 Nov and Dev Uthani Ekadashi on 20 Nov. Gopashtami, the festival of gaumata, is on 17 Nov.
What exactly are the cows fed?
Fresh green fodder (hara chara) for the cows in your plan. The 21-cow plan adds gud; the 51-cow plan covers a day's green fodder, gud and chokar. Several families fund one shared gaushala seva.
How and when will I get the video?
On WhatsApp, at the number you give at checkout, normally within 48 hours of the seva. It shows your sankalp and the cows being fed. A completion update also comes by email.
Can I book it for a birthday, anniversary or in someone's memory?
Yes. Choose the occasion at checkout and enter the name for the sankalp. Gau seva in memory of ancestors is a cherished tradition.
Can I change the date or cancel?
Until the cutoff, normally 48 hours before your seva day, you can request a free date change (subject to space) or a full-refund cancellation from your booking page. After that, cancellations are generally not refundable.
