Questions devotees ask
Where does the Kanjak Seva take place?
In Katra, at the foot of Mata Vaishno Devi's Trikuta hills. The Kanya Pujan is done there on the Navratri day you choose, in your family's name.
Is the seva done by a pandit with proper rituals?
Yes. A pandit ji performs the Kanya Pujan with proper rituals: your family sankalp is taken in your name, the Kanjaks are welcomed and honoured as forms of Maa Durga, and they are served bhog with devotion before receiving their blessings.
What is served in the bhog?
The traditional Navratri Kanjak bhog: puri, kala chana and suji halwa, served fresh and hot to every Kanjak.
Will I receive Mata Rani's prasad at home?
Yes. It is included in the Mata Rani Sampoorna Seva (₹5,101), and with the Kanjak Seva or Family Kanjak Sankalp Seva you can add Mata Rani Prasad home delivery at checkout. Prasad is sent directly from Katra to the address you give at checkout, anywhere in India, after your seva. Courier details are shared once it is dispatched.
Can I offer a chunri and shringar to Mata Rani?
Yes. With the Kanjak Seva or Family Kanjak Sankalp Seva, add “Mata ki Chunri & Shringar” at checkout. A red chunri and shringar items are offered to Mata Rani at Vaishno Devi on your behalf, in your family's sankalp name, and it is included in your completion update. The Mata Rani Sampoorna Seva already includes a chadhava.
Can I choose the day of my seva?
Yes. Pick any Navratri day while booking, including Ashtami, Navami and Dashami. Each day has limited slots, so book early for the most popular days.
Will I receive a video of my Kanjak Seva?
Yes. For every order we share a verified video of your Kanjak Seva after the seva, together with a completion update on your booking page and by email.
What happens after I pay?
Once your payment is verified you see a confirmation on screen and receive an email with your booking ID. On the seva morning you get a reminder email, and after the seva your video and completion update. You can track the booking any time using Track Booking.
Do I need to be present in Katra?
No. Our team performs the seva in your name and family sankalp. You can be anywhere in India or abroad and still take part through the video and updates.
Is payment safe?
Yes. Payments are processed by Razorpay using UPI, cards, net banking or wallets. We never see or store your card details or UPI PIN.
Can I cancel or change the date?
You can request a cancellation or date change from your booking page before the published cutoff. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy for details.
Is my payment a tax-deductible donation?
No. You are purchasing a seva service. Your receipt is not a donation certificate.
